ABOUT ALICE
Rewriting Fairy Tales,
One Queer Character at a Time
When I was a little girl, I loved fairy tales. I dreamt of dragons, magic, and mermaids. I watched every single animated movie with princesses and enchantments, forbidden love and unlimited possibilities.

As I got older, I learned the truth about fairy tales. Dark, twisted, and raw. I couldn't get enough, but I missed the Happily Ever Afters of my childhood. I wanted something that combined the best of both worlds.

As a writer, I found my calling in writing Fractured Fairy Tales; new twists on old classics. Dark stories, grim circumstances, but always a happy ending.

As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I also know that there's a serious lack of representation in literature, film, and other media of queer couples of all kinds. When there are movies made or stories told, so often our experiences are framed in what our identity means to others. Coming out stories are vital, and it is important to chronicle the ways in which we exist in a cisgender-prioritizing, heteronormative world.

But what about the stories where queer love is just love?
These are my favorites.

No excuses, no explanations, just two people finding themselves and each other in the world in which they live. Throw in a mountain of drama, a splash of magic, and an engaging villain, and you've got my favorite kind of story.

I hope you love reading my stories as much as I love writing them.
Thanks for all of your support!
